Before entering Parliament, Jill worked as a lawyer, company director and stay-at-home mum.
Jill has a passion for improving opportunities for Victorians and building for the economic and social challenges of the future. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
The priorities Jill has for her community and constituents are to ensure fulfilling, secure and decently paid employment opportunities are available close to home. She also wants to deliver more infrastructure and high-quality accessible services from education to health care. In addition, Jill prioritises a clean physical environment, compassionate connected communities, and diverse recreational, cultural and sporting activities.
Jill’s vision for Victoria’s future is as a world leading, progressive, prosperous and innovative state with opportunities for all citizens and grounded optimism about the future. She wants Victoria to be a place which values and cultivates our physical and cultural environment, fairness and diversity.
The areas of public policy that she is most passionate about are employment, economic and social development, healthcare, and education and training.
