Before entering Parliament, Lisa volunteered for a range of community organisations including the Victorian Council of Social Services and the Geelong Community Legal Service. She served as Chair of Barwon Health and was the manager of the Springdale Neighbourhood Centre in Drysdale.
Lisa was prompted to run for Parliament to be a voice for the community and advocate for better services, supports and infrastructure.
The priorities Lisa has for her community are to protect the Bellarine Peninsula from overdevelopment and ensure that our natural assets are protected. She wants to protect the character and ambience of her electorate’s rural and urban environment.
Lisa's vision for Victoria’s future is that each community has the best schools, sporting facilities, health services and community facilities they need.
The areas of public policy that she is most passionate about are health, community safety, education and environmental issues. Lisa believes that these policy areas make the biggest difference to people’s quality of life.
