Mr Lee Tarlamis

South-Eastern Metropolitan Legislative Council Australian Labor Party
Lee Tarlamis

Meet Lee

Before entering Parliament, Lee worked as an advisor for federal and state Members of Parliament. He represented the South Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Parliament of Victoria from 2010 to 2014 and was re-elected in 2020.

After many years involved in community service, Lee wanted to do more to represent the area he loves. This is what prompted him to run for Parliament.

The priorities Lee has for his community are ensuing everyone has access to rights and opportunities regardless of where they live, who they are or where they have come from. He works to embrace, share and celebrate our diversity to foster a cohesive and vibrant community.

Lee's vision for Victoria’s future is that it is the brain of the nation and a global leader in climate and energy policy. He wants us to be a model of social justice and economic reform, with fair and open democratic institutions.

The areas of public policy that he is most passionate about are infrastructure and community development. He is also passionate about working with Victoria’s First Nations Peoples to ensure a just treaty and truth telling process.
