Beaumaris residential heritage
Mr ROWSWELL: I was disheartened to learn that the Minister for Planning has declined my invitation to meet with Beaumaris home owners affected by Bayside council’s adoption of the postwar modern residential heritage study. To those in the community who have contacted me about this matter, I join in your frustration at the dismissive response from the Labor government and some Bayside councillors during this most stressful and difficult time. I will continue to stand with you and support you with a sensible approach that supports both heritage and the rights of property owners fairly.
