Giant Steps Melbourne
Jess WILSON (Kew) (13:04): Last week I visited a remarkable little school with a giant spirit. Giant Steps opened their Kew campus in 2016. It was originally founded in Sydney by parents who wanted to bring to Australia world’s best practice education for children with autism. Today the dedicated staff and teachers, together with occupational, speech and music therapists, have more than 30 students from prep to year 12. Giant Steps is renowned for its transdisciplinary approach to education, working closely with students’ families to ensure a unique and rich learning environment is tailored for each and every student.
